Spring Festival and Eggstravaganza in Freeport

Enjoy a day of family fun at Freeport Regional Sports Complex on April 16, 2022. Sponsored by the Freeport Town Planters Society, the event will feature pony rides, Hobo Express, fishbowl games, stuff your own animal, and the 15,000 Easter eggs that fall from the sky sponsored by Destin Worship. Town Planters Society will be hosting a silent auction to raise funds for Relay for Life.

Times are:
Toddlers 0-3 at 10:30 a.m.
Ages 4-7 at 11 a.m.
Ages 8-11 at 12 Noon

There will be 15,000 eggs this year and plans are for two helicopter drops for the 12 & 1 PM times. Stroll through the park and enjoy a fun filled day for the whole family.

Easter bunny and egg hunt in DeFuniak Springs

Main Street DeFuniak Springs will host its “Easter Bunny Photo (H)op”, sponsored by The Pink House Aesthetics & Wellness Boutique, on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in Downtown DeFuniak Springs, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at The Opinion Place located at 801 Baldwin Ave, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

Along with the photo opportunity, attendees can partake in an Easter Egg Hunt at participating brick-and-mortar Main Street merchants. All events are free to attend and open to all ages.

Along with the Easter events, patrons are encouraged to shop small at Main Street’s merchants, and the variety of farmers, makers, and bakers, setup as part of the Farmer’s Market, going on every Saturday through November 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Easter egg scavenger hunt at Camp Helen State Park

On Saturday, April 16, the Friends of Camp Helen are hosting an Easter egg scavenger hunt.  Guests are encouraged to visit the park anytime between 10 am – 2 pm, pay $4 park admission, ask volunteers for an egg hunt card, and enjoy a color-coded hunt that encourages kids to explore and learn about the park at their own leisure. participants can turn them in for a special prize. The scavenger hunt will have 3 different age groups: 0-3, 4-6, and 7-12.   After finding an egg of each color, children can turn them in for a special prize.

That’s What Cheese Said and Gelato Love food trucks will be in the park from 11-3. There is even rumored to be a surprise appearance by a celebrity bunny.

The Friends of Camp Helen are excited to be open for kayak and SUP rentals 7 days a week from 9 am – 5 pm. Reservations can be made online at www.friendsofcamphelen.org or by calling (850) 238-1900.  Walk ins are also welcome.

Camp Helen is located at 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach, FL, just west of the Phillips Inlet bridge on the Bay and Walton county line. The entrance is south of U.S. Hwy 98. ::MAP::

Park Fees
