One way to cool off on a hot summer day is to head over to one of Walton County’s splash pads. Most all the parks also offer a playground area. All have restroom facilities and some offer picnic areas to enjoy a full day of fun.
All parks are open 7 days a week from dawn to dusk and the splash pads open weather permitting, except Freeport Community Pool which is open from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. every day but Wednesday.

Wee Care Park is a large recreation area offering baseball/softball fields, batting cages, basketball court, pavilions, picnic tables, grills, playground equipment, tennis courts, volleyball courts, disc golf course, splash pad, and rest rooms.
