Panhandle area Florida State Parks continue to reopen for day use

May 9, 2020 – The Florida State Parks in the Panhandle area are continuing to reopen with limited use. Topsail Hill Preserve State Park has opened for day use only. It will be for 50% capacity and there will be no tram service to the beach. The park will close once 50% capacity is met. St. Andrews State Park reopens with limited use

Effective Tuesday, May 5, 2020: St. Andrews State Park is open for day use, 8 a.m. to sunset, for active recreation only, such as walking, jogging, swimming and fishing. Restrooms and trash cans are available, all other park facilities are closed. Normal park fees apply. DeFuniak Springs parks reopen

May 1, 2020 – During the Walton County Board of County Commissioner’s (WCBCC) meeting that took place April 28th, 2020, the following action was taken by the WCBCC regarding the opening of the Beaches of Walton County. Walton County closes Morrison Springs and Grady Brown Parks March 27, 2020

March 27, 2020 – Effective immediately and based upon updated monitoring info and a recommendation from Sheriff Michael Adkinson, Walton County has closed Morrison Springs and Grady Brown Parks to the general public.
