Bay County Audubon hosting bird walk at Conservation Park Nov. 14

November 3, 2020

The Bay County Audubon is hosting a bird walk on Sat. Nov. 14 from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. at Conservation Park in Panama City Beach. The park is located on Conservation Drive.

Bring masks, snacks and drinks for yourself only. They also encourage you to bring your own optics. An easy walk of approximately 2.5 miles is required. Although the road is a dirt road, it is wide and wheelchair accessible. Meet in the parking area by the rest rooms.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our field trips will be adhering to recommended guidelines to prevent spread of the disease. If you are immunocompromised or have serious medical problems, you may not want to participate. If you have a fever, cough or other symptoms, please stay home. Masks are strongly recommended, at least for the first part of the trip where we gather to start our hike. You are advised to bring hand sanitizer and are asked not to share food, optics or other items. Our groups will consist of no more than 10 people. If we have more than that, we will break up into separate groups.
