Big Dawg looking for new best friend

Meet an Alaqua Animal Refuge family favorite.  His name is Big Dawg, and he is one exceptionally sweet senior gentleman with a smile that’s hard to resist.  Filled with canine confidence, Big Dawg considers himself an expert on all things dog related.  Take walks, for instance.  Rather than troubling his companion to steer him in the right direction, Big Dawg takes the situation into his own two paws, carries the leash in his mouth and walks himself.  Or as he prefers to think of it, HE walks YOU!  A Labrador Retriever mix, Big Dawg is very gentle with people, and gets along well with other dogs once he gets to know them.  The same cannot be said about his relationship with those of the feline persuasion, however.  Set in his ways when it comes to cats, Big Dawg does not see them as potential buddies and pals.  Very mellow and hoping for a loving forever home, Big Dawg invites you to pay him a visit any time Tuesday through Sunday from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m.  You’ll find he’s a gentleman with lots to offer.  And maybe, just maybe, you could be the special someone he’s been waiting for.
