Artists gather to paint for a good cause

Amanda Usrey, artist and proprietor of Studio by the Sea, hosted a painting class for a good cause on May 18. The plein air class was held along Campbell Lake at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. The fundraiser for Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, brought in more than $500. It was a great turnout with 17 participants replicating a painting previously painted by Usrey. Seaside offering valet parking services this summer

The community of Seaside is now offering valet service during the busy summer months. PM Valet will park Seaside customers’ vehicles for them. Visitors will be able to drive into Central Square and park on their own or have someone park their car. The valet service option will allow visitors to spend less time parking when wanting to dine or shop during peak times.
