Walton County fishing report for May 1

Fishing is good Choctawhatchee Bay: Good trout bites and large size. Biting with all types of lures: shrimp, Mirrolure and DOAs. Some redfish along 4-mile point. 
Creeks/river: Good reports of bass and hybrids being caught at the mouth of the river. A few crappie and shellcracker in the clear spots. In shore: Good pompano bites along with a few sheepshead.
