Wesley House at Eden Gardens State Park dressed up for the holidays, luminary walk Dec. 10
The holiday spirit is in full swing at the Wesley House at Eden Gardens State Park. Local businesses have decorated the interior of the house in holiday décor and it is open to the public for tours hourly 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday through Monday. The house is closed to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday as well as certain holidays. Tour fees are $4 per adult and $2 per child under the age of 12. Cash, check or credit card accepted at the Wesley House.
The house was decorated by several organizations: Entrance, Hallways & Staircase Destin Woman’s Club, The Parlor Green Thumb Garden Club, The Dining Room Ladies of Impact 100, The Library Historic Point Washington Association, The Upstairs Sun Porch Seagrove Garden Club, The Red Bedroom Daughters of the American Revolution, West Florida Chapter, The Children’s Bedroom Dragonfly Design, and Detail The Blue Bedroom Eden Gardens State Park, The Pink Bedroom RMA Consulting & Design, The Downstairs Sun Porch and Exterior Friends of Eden Gardens.
Eden Gardens will once again illuminate the park on Saturday December 10, 2022 from 5-8 pm for an evening that has become a local holiday tradition. Over 2,000 luminaries will be lit and placed along the garden paths of the park, giving the public the opportunity to experience the magic of Eden Gardens at nightfall. The Historic Wesley House will also be decorated for Christmas and the public will have the opportunity to process through the home and see all the rooms decorated. There will be live music on the grounds throughout the evening, as well as cookies and hot beverages provided by the Friends of Eden at the Pavilion area. This event is free and open to the public. Overflow parking will be at the Bay School.
