The Walton County Department of Administration, in conjunction with the Walton County Board of County Commissioners, will be holding a meet and greet with the public at the location of the planned South Walton Sports Complex.
This event will be held on Monday, November 16th at 10:30am, and will give the public the opportunity to see the property, discuss the approved master plan and ask questions about the development process and timelines.
The Sports Complex property must be accessed via an unnamed access road on the north side of US Hwy 98 approximately 2000 ft. past Serenoa Road. The road can be accessed headed east via the first median cut following the Florida Forestry Department location on US Hwy 98. There is a Sports Complex sign posted on US Hwy 98 just east of the entrance and a map has been included for reference.
Members of the Walton County Sports Complex Project Management team and several County Commissioners will be on-hand to meet with members of the public and the media. In addition, copies of the approved Sports Complex Master Plan will be available for distribution.
We look forward to the opportunity to welcome the members of the public to the future home of the Walton County Sports Complex.
