Proceeds benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 

Put on your cowboy hats, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) Ride for a Cure Rodeo will be held Saturday, August 20 behind the WCSO Paxton Substation.  Gates open at 6 p.m. The event begins at 7 p.m.
“Juvenile diabetes can be devastating for children and their families,” said Sheriff Michael A. Adkinson, Jr. “The rodeo is one of many family-friendly events around the country geared toward bringing awareness and ultimately a cure to juvenile diabetes.”

The event will feature contestants from area rodeo organizations who will participate in calf and steer riding, pee wee bull riding and barrel racing competitions.

Adult Ticket Information (ages 13+):
•    $10 in advance
•    $12 at the gate

Child Ticket Information (ages nine to 12):
•    $8 in advance
•    $10 at the gate
•    Free admission for children ages eight and under
Advanced tickets are available at Paxton City Hall and the Walton County Sheriff’s Office in DeFuniak Springs, Fla.
