Closure will be near McDaniel’s Fish camp

Walton County Public Works advises that a portion of County Road 3280 in central Walton County will be closed 1.10 miles east of McDaniel’s Fish Camp Road and 1.75 miles west of Black Creek Boulevard for major culvert replacement at Mucky Branch.

With weather permitting and no delays, construction will begin on Monday, August 2 and the road should be reopened by close of business on Wednesday, August 4.

Motorists should detour around this area using U.S. 331, State Road 20 and Black Creek Boulevard.  Fishermen going to Black Creek should go down Black Creek Boulevard from State Road 20 rather than approaching from U.S. 331.
