Fishing is great in the bay, general gun season opens Nov. 25

Bay: Lot of fish being caught in the bay. Abundance of speckled trout, redfish, flounder being caught with DOAs and MirrOdines. Sheepshead being caught with fiddler crabs. Folks are doing great in the middle of the day between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Fresh:  Crappie and some catfish being caught. Some hybrids being caught at the mouth of the river with live shrimp and crank baits.

Crossbow Season: Nov. 29 – Dec. 3 Antlered deer only by crossbow or bow
Muzzleloading Gun Season: Dec. 4–10 and Feb. 21–27 – Antlered deer only by muzzleloader, crossbow or bow
General Gun Season: Nov. 25–28 and Dec. 11 – Feb. 20
Antlered deer entire season; antlerless deer may be taken Dec. 26 – Jan. 1 by all legal
center fire rifles and pistols, shot guns, muzzleloaders, crossbows and bows
