Join the Florida Park Service, Florida State Parks Foundation and Live Wildly at Grayton Beach State Park for a hands-on experience restoring the ecosystem at the par on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, from 9 – 11 a.m. (CST). The project will help reduce the numbers of sand pines and promote the growth of longleaf pines. You will be hand pulling and using loppers to reduce sand pines. The event is partly in celebration of Florida Wildlife Corridor Week Jan. 27 – Feb. 3.
By participating in this event, you’ll not only contribute to the conservation of our local ecosystem but also get the chance to explore the stunning beauty of Grayton Beach State Park.
