It was a perfect day outdoors for all explorers at the Sixth Annual Explore The Outdoors Festival. Hundreds of children and adults enjoyed a variety of activities along Black Creek at Live Oak Landing. Zombie 5K fun run and walk in DeFuniak Springs Oct. 31

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Zombi 5K Fun Run and Walk in DeFuniak Springs Oct. 31. The event will start at 7 a.m. at the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, 752 Triple G Road, DeFuniak Springs. Runners get 3 flags. Survive by keeping at least one flag. The 2nd Annual Eden Vintage Film Series Kicks Off October 1st with ‘Jaws 2′ (Filmed in Destin), starting at 6:30 p.m. Films will be shown on the main lawn overlooking the bayou, and are free with paid park admission.
