The City of Freeport is hosting their annual Christmas Parade Friday, Dec. 4 at 5:00 p.m. Line-up for the parade begins at 4:00 p.m. at Freeport Middle School. South Walton Fire District Elf Ride in Santa Rosa Beach Dec. 6

The South Walton Fire District (SWFD) will be hosting their 8th Annual Elf Ride on Dec. 6th, 2015. Elves of all ages will meet at the Western Lake Beach Access in Watercolor at 1:00 p.m. and bicycle/walk to the SWFD’s Water Color Station located at 2109 CR 395 South, Seagrove (approx. 1.5 miles). Walton County unveils plans for South Walton Sports Complex

                        The Walton County Department of Administration, in conjunction with the Walton County Board of County Commissioners, hosted a meet and greet and unveiled the preliminary plans for the new South Walton Sports Complex. Star gaze at Eden Gardens State Park Nov. 20

Time: 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. Eden Gardens State Park is hosting a star gazing program on Nov. 20. Volunteers from the Northwest Florida Astronomy Association will set up several telescopes for viewing of star clusters, planets and galaxies, and answer questions about the night sky.
