Artists gather to paint for a good cause

Amanda Usrey, artist and proprietor of Studio by the Sea, hosted a painting class for a good cause on May 18. The plein air class was held along Campbell Lake at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. The fundraiser for Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, brought in more than $500. It was a great turnout with 17 participants replicating a painting previously painted by Usrey.
