CHELCO asks members to help keep electricity bills lower

Due to extreme cold weather in the forecast for tonight, CHELCO is asking members to voluntarily conserve energy between 5:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Some conservation tips include the following: Take showers or baths at night. Recycle your Christmas tree in Walton County

Tree mulch available at County Landfill Don’t let your Christmas tree go to waste, recycle it! Waste Management will pick up your old tree at the curb on your designated yard debris pick up day.  Waste Management asks that any tree taller than 6 ft. be cut in half.
