Native to the Indian Ocean and South Pacific, these beautiful yet venomous creatures are spreading through our waters like a bad cold. Fishing is still over the top! Choctawhatchee Bay: Great reports of folks still catching everything. Redfish, speckled trout, sheepshead, and large black drum. If you can believe it, the black drum are biting on live shrimp as are the sheepshead. Local fisherman Ron Hyden reports reds, flounder, black drum around the bayous on the west side of the Bay near Brooks Bridge and Cinco Bayou.
