Nick’s Seafood Restaurant hosted two fishing tournaments in conjunction with the Freeport Bayfest on Sept. 20, 2014. A variety of fish were caught in the Choctawhatchee Bay and weighed in at Hammock Bay Sports Complex in Freeport. There were 21 registered participants in the ladies tournament and 13 in the Choctawhatchee Bayfest tournament. Kid’s Catfish Tournament at Nick’s Seafood Restaurant a huge success

Nick’s Seafood Restaurant in Freeport hosted their annual Kid’s Catfish Tournament on July 26. A fun day of fishing was had by all 38 participants fishing along the Choctawhatchee Bay. Weight ins and festivities were held after the tournament behind the restaurant. All kids who fished received goodies, with the top five in two categories receiving prizes and trophies.
