Summer Day Camp offered in DeFuniak Springs and Santa Rosa Beach

helenmccallThe Walton County Recreation Department is offering Summer Day Camps in June and July. Two camps offered at Wee Care Park in DeFuniak, one camp offered at Helen McCall Park in Santa Rosa Beach.

Summer Day Camp offered in DeFuniak Springs June 17 – 21, 2013
Treasure Island Theme Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Travel into history as we spend a week searching for hidden treasure. Each team will compete for the top title of GOLD MINER by participating in scavenger hunts, games, and sports all with the “treasure” in mind.

Limited to 50 kids per week. Ages 7-13 are acceptable as campers. Younger children must have approval by WC Rec Director. Ages 14-18 are being accepted as team leaders.

This camp is an activity based camp and great for children who love sports and the outdoors. Students are required to bring their lunch or they may purchase a lunch at the park for $5.00/lunch. Snacks and drinks will be provided.  We are only accepting 50 students per camp so don’t delay in registration.

Summer Day Camp offered in DeFuniak Springs July 8 – 12, 2013 at Wee Care Park
Water World Theme – Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Dive into a week of water filled games, riddles, scavenger hunts and more during the Water World themed week. We will be doing science experiments with water, playing water relay games, solving water riddles, and even doing water-based crafts. Each team will compete for the title of “WATER MASTER”.

Summer Day Camp offered in Santa Rosa Beach July 15 – 19, 2013 at Helen McCall Park
Treasure Island Theme Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Travel into history as we spend a week searching for hidden treasure. Each team will compete for the top title of GOLD MINER by participating in scavenger hunts, games, and sports all with the “treasure” in mind.
