Thanks to a flag service program hosted by Freeport/South Walton Kiwanis Club, folks in South Walton and Freeport will enjoy patriotic American flags flying several times a year.

Along U.S. Highway 331 in South Walton, and several neighborhoods in Freeport, the local program flies the flags during President’s Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day through Sept. 11, and Veterans Day.

If you and your neighborhood area interested in the flying flag flying program, the cost is $36/year. The flags are made in the U.S.A. and are delivered and set up by the Kiwanis Club.
