Perched on what was the former Freeport (Gulfstream) Shipbuilding land on Shipyard Road in Freeport stands the new, massive 80,000 square ft. Shipyard Marina.
The building will house up to 480 boats from 22 ft. – 40 ft. in length and up to 9 ft. beam. There is also 2,000 ft. of dockage at the marina on Four Mile Creek. It will be a full-service facility with gas, diesel and engine flushing available. Plans are for the facility to be open by the end of July 2024. There are also plans for a general store and a waterfront restaurant to be added in the near future.
