Come out for the 9th Annual Marvel of Flight at DeFuniak Springs Airport on March 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The community open-house, fly-in, and aviation expo is the perfect place to bring the entire family. The event is free with a suggested non-perishable food donation that will benefit Matrix Community Outreach Center.
This two-day fly-in and aviation expo will feature a multitude of memorable experiences for the entire family. Program features this year will be headlined by:
Red Thunder is a four-ship warbird formation team, led by a North American T-28B, with a Chinese CJ-6 aircraft on each wing, and a Russian Yak-52 flying the number four or slot position. These aircraft all have nine cylinder radial engines with horsepower ranging from 360hp to1450hp. The rumbling sounds and smoke trails with each pass are real crowd pleasers.
The All American Skydiving Team is a group of professional skydivers that perform all kinds of exhibition skydives into events in the Southeast US. They specialize in sports events, air shows and fly-ins. AAST will make MOF 2019 extra special with an exciting set of skydive performances.
The Friends of Army Aviation –Ozark, (FAA–O), is a non-profit public education organization filed under section 501(c) (3) of the IRS. The organization is dedicated to presenting the Army Aviation story to the American people through static displays of legacy Army aircraft and an associated ride program.
