About Allison:
Allison Richards was born in Cincinnati, Ohio where most of her spare time after the age of ten was focused on horses. Allison had a bigger sister she looked up to that was doing the hunt-seat large pony circuit on a National Level, and in no time Allison knew just what she wanted to pursue.

Soon she owned her first pony and became involved in pony club and fox-hunting. Allison wanted expand her experience, and worked hard to earn extra money babysitting to buy a moped. From that point on she was able to travel to local barns and ride their horses.

Allison spent summers as a working student for farms from Kentucky to West Virginia. At the age of sixteen she became a C-3 rated pony clubber and was eventing at the Kentucky Horse Park at the Preliminary level.

At eighteen off she went to Sweet Briar College, a very competitive equestrian school. In her spare time she rode and worked for the head coach for the Sweet Briar Riding Team. Her main focus was teaching stable management to new students along with foxhunting and showing.

Allison continued to foxhunt after college and kept up her teaching efforts in Colorado for a short time. She eventually moved to Wellington, Florida in 1999 and stayed actively riding and working in the industry.

In 2008, Allison moved to the Gulf Coast area drawn to the beauty and the love of the area. She has been teaching in the area ever since.
