Join Camp Helen State Park ranger staff for a leisurely 90-minute paddle on Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in North America. The paddles will be offered Sept. 6, 14, or 20, 2023 and will be from 9 – 11 a.m. Learn about the history, natural communities and wildlife that make this Outstanding Florida Water unique and important. This guided kayak tour will be enjoyable for individuals, families and groups.
Must be 12 years of age or older and able to independently navigate your own kayak.
Event Essential Eligibility Criteria
Fee is $30, cash only, and includes entrance fee to park, watercraft rental, life jacket, paddle, and a donation to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park. Meet at the visitor center. You must call the park for reservation at 850-233-5059.
