Red Bay Grocery and Nick’s Seafood Restaurant presented their 6th Annual Bream World Championships on Sat., June 14 at Red Bay Grocery. It was a great turn out with 17 teams competing in various categories including biggest bream, total weight of six bream, heaviest stringer, largest non-bream species, and junior angler.
Highlights of the tournament were:
First Place: Joseph Wood and Robert Bowers with a total of 3.78 lbs.
Second Place: Grices’ grandsons with a total of 3.42 lbs.
Third Place: Cade Nick with a total of 1.12 lbs.
Adult team division single fish:
First Place: Swamp Donkey, 1.31 lbs.
Second Place: Rippling Lips, 1.13 lbs.
Heaviest Stringer: Rippling Lips, 6.51 lbs.
