Enjoy live music by the Forrest Williams Band and spend a day with your family and friends making kites, participating in relay races, or shine bright in the Facetime Photo Booth. The night will end with a fireworks show over Wind Garden Park. Great food and beverages will be available with proceeds benefiting Food for Thought and Alaqua Animal Refuge. Kid’s Activities – Take a break from the music and enjoy relay races, face painting, Bocce ball, and even make your own kite.
Watersound Scavenger Hunt – Pick up a scavenger hunt card at Wind Garden Park, get your card punched at featured locations and enter to win prizes like a YOLO Board, YOLO bike, dinner at Fish Out of Water and more.
Facetime Photo Booth – Take a photo with your family and friends and share it on online!
Picnic Eats – Purchase classic food favorites and beverages. BBQ, snacks, ice cream, and beer will be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Food for Thought and Alaqua Animal Refuge. Menu items from Watersound Origins newest restaurant, Origins Cafe will also be available for sampling, or bring your own picnic. Food purchase is not required, but suggested to benefit organizations.
Food for Thought – This organization provides backpacks filled with easy to make meals so children can focus on their development and education, not where the next meal is coming from. Visit their lemonade stand and support this worthwhile organization.
Alaqua Animal Refuge – Visit the Alaqua Animal Refuge booth to learn about adoption and visit with pets.
Fireworks – End the evening with a fireworks show at dusk set to music.
