Join in for Family Bay Day at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Hosted by the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance (CBA) in partnership with the Choctawhatchee Bay Estuary Program, and generously supported by the Mattie Kelly Environmental Initiative (MKEI) through the Northwest Florida State College Foundation, this free event is perfect for nature lovers of all ages. The Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance will have educational stations for outreach about the Choctawhatchee Bay and estuary. Activities include participating ecological partners to assist with outreach and education about the benefits of our most important natural resource – water. Participants will be guided through stations and activities to learn about the importance of protecting swimmable, fishable waterways in our community through monitoring, education, restoration, and research.
