Enjoy birding with Audubon at Eden Gardens State Park March 18

Enjoy a combined birding walk with Bay County and Choctawhatchee Audubon. Eden Gardens is a 163-acre park featuring acres of very large, moss-covered oaks, camellias, azaleas and lots of other beautiful plants. Native plants are also featured. There is a nature trail we will walk. The centerpiece of the park is the Wesley Mansion, a two-story house with columns built in 1897. It is open to limited tours.

Park entry fee $4. Meet at 8:15-8:30 in the main parking lot. Bring a picnic lunch and drinks, as well as your cameras and binoculars. This picturesque park is on the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail. It is about 32 miles west of Panama City just off Hwy 98 on County Road 395. Turn right at the intersection and drive 1 mile to the park entrance. Easy walking.
