Enjoy a hike in the cool October air at the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 from 6 – 9 p.m. Cost is $10 adults, $7 kids 4-12.
Begin the evening with a self-guided hike on a trail from the Biophilia Center to Camp Longleaf. As the sun sets, you can sit and watch as hundreds of bats fly out of their bat house. You will conclude the night with a bonfire, s’mores, and games. This is a fantastic event to bring the kiddos and is about 2/3 of a mile round trip. The trail is NOT stroller-friendly and no dogs are allowed. Bring your flashlight.
