Eden Gardens Wesley House decorated for the holidays, luminary stroll Dec. 11

The holiday spirit is in full swing at the Wesley House at Eden Gardens State Park. Local businesses have decorated the interior of the house in holiday décor and it is open to the public for tours hourly 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday through Monday. The house is closed to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday as well as certain holidays.

Masks are recommended while inside the Wesley House. Visitors are expected to maintain a distance of at least six feet apart. Tour fees are $4 per adult and $2 per child under the age of 12. Cash, check or credit card accepted at the Wesley House. Photos are not allowed inside the home but are welcome on the porches and throughout the grounds.

*** LUMINARY TOUR CANCELED***

A luminary tour will be offered on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 5 – 8 p.m. CST. Eden Gardens will illuminate the park for an evening that has become a local holiday tradition. More than 2,000 luminaries will be placed along the garden paths of the park, giving the public the opportunity to experience the magic of Eden at nightfall. There will be music and carolers on the grounds throughout the evening as well as cookies and hot beverages provided by the Friends of Eden Gardens at the pavilion area. The event is free to the public and park entry fees will be waived. Parking will be available in main lot and at Bay Elementary School.
Donations will be accepted.

Please be aware that the park will be quite dark even with the luminaries on the grounds. It is recommend using a flashlight when walking from the parking area to the main grounds.
Please note the Wesley House will not be open to the public during the luminary stroll.

$4.00 per vehicle. Please use the honor box to pay fees. Correct change is required. Limit 8 people per vehicle.
