Tour on your own during the day, take the trolley candlelight tour at night

Partners In Progress of DeFuniak Springs has announced their 20th annual Tour of Homes, set for Sat., Dec. 4, 2010. This year, there will be two tours. Tickets are on sale from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and self-guided tours will last from noon to 4 p.m. These marvelous homes will be decked out in all their Christmas finery and feature a variety in style and architecture. Tickets are $16.85 each (plus tax) and can be purchased at the Welcome Center on Circle Drive, next to the Walton County Heritage Museum.

Partners In Progress is also offering their Lil’ Trolley Candlelight Tour to enjoy Christmas Reflections, the dazzling light show on the shores of Lake DeFuniak. At scheduled stops on the tour, visitors will be able to visit a selection of Victorian homes in full holiday splendor. Tickets for the evening tours are available beginning at 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church parking lot on Crescent Street and are $18.75 (plus tax). The Lil’ Trolley Candlelight Tours begin at 5;30 p.m. and last until 9 p.m.
