Hometown Christmas market at the Walton County Fairgrounds Nov. 27 – 28

The annual Hometown Christmas will be held Saturday, Nov. 27, from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12- 4 p.m. at the Walton County Fairgrounds on Highway 83 North in DeFuniak Springs.

The annual shopping event brings thousands of holiday shoppers to historic DeFuniak Springs and features activities for children, food, entertainment, and hundreds of unique one-of-a-kind gifts for every taste. Free admission.

Merry Main Street in DeFuniak Springs Nov. 27, Dec. 4, 11, 18

Main Street DeFuniak Springs will be hosting its annual holiday events coined “Merry Main Street” from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Nov. 27, Dec. 4, 11, 18, 2021 along Baldwin Avenue.

The free activities boast live music and theatrical performances, an outdoor market, food trucks, rides on the Choctaw Express Train, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, kids character appearances by The Character Clubhouse, and more family fun – all taking place along Baldwin Avenue in downtown DeFuniak Springs.

For the dad’s or children tired of toting mom’s shopping bags around, The Florida Chautauqua Theatre will host its Men’s Lounge on Small Business Saturday, November 27 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The historic theatre will be streaming live sports on its 21’ screen and serving ice cold adult and non-alcoholic refreshments.

Every Saturday from 5 – 8 p.m. guests can enjoy rides along Baldwin Avenue on the Choctaw Express Train and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus on their sleigh parked at the chime clock on the corner of Baldwin Avenue and S. 7th St. Additional holiday events include…
