…MAJOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND EXPECTED TO CONTINUE…

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

SAFETY MESSAGE…ALL PERSONS WITH INTEREST ALONG THE RIVER SHOULD MONITOR THE
LATEST FORECASTS…AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE
AND PROPERTY. DO NOT DRIVE CARS THROUGH FLOODED AREAS. IF YOU SEE FLOOD
WATERS…REMEMBER TO TURN AROUND AND DO NOT DROWN.

* AT  1:01 PM SUNDAY THE STAGE WAS 17.0 FEET.
* MAJOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MAJOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 13.0 FEET.
* FORECAST…THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE RISING TO NEAR 17.4 FEET BY MONDAY
EVENING.  ADDITIONAL RISES MAY BE POSSIBLE THEREAFTER.
* IMPACT…AT 16.5 FEET…MAJOR FLOODING OCCURS ALONG THE CHOCTAWHATCHEE RIVER
NEAR BRUCE.
