Autumn brings colorful wildflowers and butterflies to South Walton

Autumn is an extraordinary time to explore the outdoors in South Walton. The forest trails are awash in a colorful abundance of seasonal wildflowers and migrating butterflies. We are fortunate to have several State Parks along with the Point Washington State Forest in our own backyard. The E.O.Wilson Biophilia Center teams up with the Walton County Health Department for the Biophilia Center Family Fun 5K Nature Hike on Saturday, September 26th. Date/time: Thursday, May 14th at 9:00 a.m. Join Grayton Beach State Park Services Specialist Patrick Hartsfield for a guided nature walk of the Beach Dune Trail.
