Gulf Place hosting Sunday concert series in March and April

Gulf Place on 30A are hosting a Sunday Concert Series, kicking off March 9, 2014. The series will be every Sunday in March and April, and between Memorial Day weekend through mid October. Each week will feature a different local or regional group, ranging in genres. Performances will be appropriate for attendees of all ages. The 7th Annual 30A St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival is slated for Saturday, March 15th 2014. Nationally recognized, Texas based Celtic Rock Band Cleghorn will headline the entertainment along with the Drake School of Irish Dance. Morrison Springs swimming advisory rescinded

Water now safe for swimming, diving Effective Feb. 12, 2014, the Florida Department of Health in Walton County is rescinding the May 31, 2013 swim advisory for the Morrison Springs bathing place. DOH Walton feels that water quality in this area has improved considerably due to the reduction in bacteria levels.
