Take a hike with a ranger at Grayton Beach State Park Dec. 28

Time: 10 a.m. On Saturday, Dec. 28,  join Grayton Beach State Park’s Ranger Chad for a guided walk on the beach nature trail. Discover how the dunes protect the park from hurricanes and storm. Also learn about the endangered farmer of the dunes, the Choctawhatchee Beach Mouse. Please meet at the east end of the beach parking area. The walk will leave from the beach parking area. Time: 9 – 10:30 a.m. Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park as they feature Sarah Schindele of the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance (CBA). Sarah will be discussing our globally imperiled rare coastal dune lakes, these gems are what make this area unique. CBA is an organization committed to sustaining and providing optimum utilization of the Choctawhatchee Basin watershed.
