Bay scallop season opens June 15 in Dixie County and a portion of Taylor County

The 2020 recreational bay scallop season for Dixie County and a portion of Taylor County opens June 15 and will remain open through Labor Day (Sept. 7, 2020). The popular 2020 Gulf red snapper recreational season is set to open for private recreational vessels June 11- July 25 (45 days).
