Cessna boat ramp closed for improvements

Plans are to reopen by end of May The Cessna Park boat ramp on County Road 393 at Hogtown Bayou in South Walton County has been closed for scheduled improvements that will be a big benefit for fishermen and boaters.  The project consists of the removal of the existing ramp, construction of a new ramp and new loading dock on both sides of the ramp. Youth fishing rodeo at Eglin AFB May 28-29

Family fun in store at the Fishing Rodeo Spend a few hours casting a line out and catching fish at the Youth Fishing Rodeo May 28 and 29, 2011. The rodeo will be held at Eglin Air Force Base’s Prison Pond located at the Army Ranger Camp in Niceville. The event is limited to children ages 15 and under.
