Star gaze at Eden Gardens State Park Nov. 20

Time: 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. Eden Gardens State Park is hosting a star gazing program on Nov. 20. Volunteers from the Northwest Florida Astronomy Association will set up several telescopes for viewing of star clusters, planets and galaxies, and answer questions about the night sky. Free entry to Florida State Parks Nov. 11

The Florida Park Service is proud to observe Veterans Day by offering free entry into any Florida state park on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Northwest Florida Water Management District re-opens Devil’s Hole along Econfina Creek

The Northwest Florida Water Management District has re-opened Devil’s Hole, a popular recreation site located in Washington County and part of the Econfina Creek Water Management Area. District staff conducted shoreline restoration and protection activities at three eroded shoreline areas. Native tree and scrub species have been planted along these newly-restored areas.
