Camp Helen State Park pumpkin sale and Saturdays in the patch opens Sept. 30

The Friends of Camp Helen’s 8th Annual Pumpkin Patch officially opens Saturday, September 30 at 9 am and will remain open daily from 9 am – 4 pm throughout October. On Saturdays from 11 am – 3 pm, the patch will have various entertainment.

This year, Saturdays in the Patch will feature: Nature Day (wildlife crafts, interpretive programs, educational games), a fishing expo for kids, face painting, a haunted history tour, live music, including Huck and Lily, food trucks, 2nd annual witches paddle a movie night, and other games and crafts.

Registration for the Witches Paddle (October 21) and Beetlejuice (October 28) will be available at www.friendsofcamphelen.org beginning Friday, September 22.

There are still 2 more Eco Tours left at Camp Helen this month on Thursday, September 14 and Wednesday, September 20 from 9am-11am. To register, contact (850) 233-5059.

Kayak and Paddle board rentals remain open throughout the Fall as well. Fishing poles, tackle, and group packages are also available.

Driving Directions
Camp Helen is located at 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach, FL, just west of the Phillips Inlet bridge on the Bay County and Walton county line. The entrance is south of U.S. Hwy 98. ::MAP::

Park Fees
There is an honor entrance station. The fee is $4.00 per vehicle and $1.00 per bicyclist or pedestrian.
