Camp Helen State Park will be hosting a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 8 from 12 noon – 5 pm. There will be fun, food, and games for the whole family. Admission into the park for this event is free, although donations are accepted. Donations will go directly to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park to benefit the park’s resource management projects and interpretive programs. A parent or guardian must accompany all children. Parking at the state park is limited to those who need accessible parking. All others are requested to park at Winn-Dixie and ride the free shuttle to the park. Winn Dixie is at the junction of U. S. 98 and Front Beach Road a mile east of the Philips Inlet Bridge and about five miles west of Highway 79.
Additionally, Camp Helen will be selling pumpkins 7 days a week, 9 am – 5 pm, starting September 29th through October 31st.
