Join the Friends of Eden as they celebrate the annual Camellia Festival at Eden Gardens State Park in Santa Rosa Beach on Sat. Feb. 15, 2020 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The festival includes presentations on camellias, from how they are air layered to floral arrangements. There will also be heritage presenters throughout the park, demonstrating skills such as blacksmithing, chair caning and candle making, and more. The band Earth Vibes will provide musical entertainment on the bayou stage. Bring your chairs or blankets and plan to spend the afternoon at the park. Food vendors will be on-site as well. The event will take place throughout the grounds of park, as well as the screened pavilion area.
Tentative schedule for the day: (held in the Pavilion area)
10:15 am – 11:00 am – Presentation on Camellias by Marie Harrison
11:15 am – 12 noon – Floral Demonstration using Camellias by Tim Ard of Emerald Coast Flowers and Gifts.
12:30 pm – Demonstrations on Air-layering
1:30 pm – Waxing Camellia Blooms
10am to 2 pm – “Earth Vibes Band” will be performing at the Stage area.
Camellias will be available for a donation from the nursery.

Park fees apply of $4 per vehicle. Event is free. Separate cost associated with food vendors. CASH ONLY. Additional parking available at Bay Elementary School.
