Happy little guy with looking for a new friend

Martin is a very happy little dog.  Scheduled for euthanasia, he was rescued at the very last minute from a nearby kill shelter and is now a resident at Alaqua Animal Refuge.  When he first arrived at the sanctuary, he was quite the sad looking guy.  Due to a severe flea infestation and an impossibly matted coat, Martin had to be completely shaved.  As you can see from the photo, today he is a totally new dog. His once hopelessly tangled tan fur has grown back beautifully, the fleas are gone and he’s a companion anyone would be proud to be seen walking down the street with.  Martin is a Maltese/terrier mix with a sweet disposition and a heart full of canine love that he’s more than anxious to share.  This is one little dog who is more than deserving of a second chance at life.  You could be the perfect person to give him that chance.  If his photo doesn’t convince you, come and meet him in person.  He is so very easy to love and so hard to forget.
