Handsome canine looking for new best friend to play with

Exuberant, energetic and eager to please – these are just a few of the words used by the staff and volunteers at Alaqua Animal Refuge to describe Usher.  This handsome young canine is a Labrador retriever/mix who is always happy and ready to play.  Looking at him it’s hard to imagine that anyone could abandon him, but in fact he was found lost and wandering along the roadside.  Content though he may be at the refuge, in his heart he’s hoping to become a member of a loving forever family soon.  Usher is very sweet and loves a good workout, so finding an owner who enjoys being active as much as he does would be ideal.  Since he is also quite the people oriented pup, he would do best as a pet in a single dog household.  So, if you’re looking for an enthusiastic playmate, you should definitely plan on paying Usher a visit.  He’ll be happy to meet you, and you’ll be glad to make his acquaintance.
