Brown-eyed girl looking for love

This dog with the big beautiful eyes is Mona.  She’s a hound/shepherd mix who was rescued  from a kill shelter, and is now happy to be at Alaqua Animal Refuge.  Everyone who meets her agrees that she’s a real sweetheart of a dog, and if you were to look up gentle in the dictionary, there you should find a picture of Mona.  Exceptionally good walking on a leash, Mona is an excellent example of perfect canine behavior.  Like all her friends at Alaqua, she longs for a loving forever home.  So if you’re looking for a gentle well-mannered dog to brighten your life, there’s no better companion than Mona.  She will lift your spirits and touch your heart.
