Weekend of fun, friends, and camaraderie fills park

The RV campground at Topsail Hilll Preserve State Park had a different look this past weekend as more than 90 Airstreams filled the campground.

A national club, Airforums hosted their eighth annual “Can Opener” get together from Jan. 9 -12. The group enjoyed four days of fun with a chili feast, bloody Mary and margarita stands, corn hole games, block parties, and Airstream giveaways. Attendees arrived with Airstream in tow from all over the county.

“It’s a great sense of community,” said organizer Russ Drake of Panama City.
