March 7: Thursday evening program. The Amazon River on a Cruise by Dr. Neil Lamb, Bay County Audubon Society. Join Dr Lamb in a world class birding and photography tour up the spectacular Amazon from the mouth to the headwaters. Dr Lamb is a life-long birder with 5000 species in his life-list. He is a retired Air Force Medical Entomologist with a PhD from Cornell University. The powerpoint presentation will be held in room 308/309 of the Student Services Building 400 at the Northwest Florida State College Niceville campus. March 9: Work day and birding at Bay County Audubon’s Laidlaw Plantation. We will clear Hurricane Michael storm debris from forest trails in this unique birding habitat. Follow up with a guided wildlife survey. Bring hand tools, sack lunch, gloves; wear closed toe shoes and long pants.
