Chipley Christmas Festival and parade Dec. 2

chipleychristmasJoin the celebration in downtown Chipley from 4 – 9 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2016. A lighted Christmas parade will light up Main Street at 6 p.m.

Get your Christmas shopping done during the Holiday Stroll when Downtown merchants will have their doors open offering special holiday discounts and Christmas treats to their guests. Wander down to the Farmer’s Market Complex on 7th Street and visit the Christmas Market where you can find specialty arts and crafts gifts for your loved ones. Enjoy the beautiful sounds of Heaven Sent and Alison and Tabitha as your little ones get their free photo with Santa or participate in one of the children’s games or activities. There will even be a continuous showing of Polar Express on an inflatable movie screen courtesy of the Washington County Public Library. Also, don’t forget to pay a visit to the Washington County Historical Society Museum for their Open House that night. All of this plus great food vendors equal a very merry night.

5 pm – Parade Line-Up (Old CHS Track – North Railroad)
6 pm – Downtown Lighted Christmas Parade
5-9 pm – Downtown Holiday Stroll – downtown merchants offering holiday goodies, discounts and last minute holiday gift ideas.
5-9 pm – FREE Carriage Rides through Downtown sponsored by Tobacco Free Florida
6-8 pm – FREE Polar Express Movie sponsored by WC Public Library
7-9 pm – FREE Children’s Activities @ Farmer’s Market Complex (Pin the Nose on Rudolf, Glitter Pinecone Station, pony rides, petting zoo, Bouncy House & Slide.
7-9 pm – FREE Santa Photos in Gazebo

4-6 pm Heaven Sent

There will also be snow on the green, and food and craft vendors.
