The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) A+ Art Committee in partnership with Northwest Florida State College announces the fine art exhibit “Outdoor Magic” – A Plein Air Show.”  This show will be on display through March 14th at Northwest Florida State College South Walton campus.

Plein Air is French for “outdoors.” Plein Air painters, working on location, seek to capture the specific light of a particular place and time.  Changing light and weather challenge the artist to create in a few hours the impression of the scene to share with viewers.
“Outdoor Magic – A Plein Air Show” features the artwork of 16 professional artist members of the Cultural Arts Alliance.  Artists exhibiting are: Charlotte Arnold, Helen Balance, Jan Bennicoff, Melody Bogle, Judy Dewar, Dale Gauvin, Rebecca Hart, Celeste Pappas Jones, Linda Kernick, Joey McKenna, Lynette Meisen, Ed Nickerson, Roslyn O’Grady, Patti Overholt, Rebecca Perrott, and Joan Vienot.

The A+ Art Committee will hold an opening reception on Friday, January 24th from 5-7 p.m. The exhibit runs from January 24 to March 14 at the South Walton Campus of Northwest Florida State College, 109 Greenway Trail, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459 during normal business hours.
